How to Update The Class Attendance

Step 1: Log In

  • Use your employee number and password to log in to your account.






Step 2: Access the Attendance Module

  • Navigate to the menu.

  • Click on the "Class Attendance" option.






Step 3: Select Attendance Details

  • Choose the following details:

    • Date of the lesson

    • Class

    • Session

    • Unit Name (Unit Code)

    • Class Group

  • Note: For Term 1 and Term 2 students, attendance must be marked for two levels: Certificate and Diploma.
    You must generate attendance separately for each level when selecting the class.






Step 5: Select the Lesson Type

  • Choose Lesson Type (A or B):

    • Select A if it's the only session for that group and unit on the selected day.

    • Choose A and B separately if the same group has two classes for the same unit on the same day (like one in the morning and one in the afternoon). 

    • To allow this, switch on the "Double Lesson" button.




Step 6: Generate the Attendance List

  • Click on the "Generate" button.

  • The system will display the list of students with attendance automatically marked as present.

  • If a student is absent, switch off the toggle next to their name and enter a reason for the absence.






Step 7: Submit the Attendance

  • After reviewing the list, click the "Submit" button at the bottom of the page to save the attendance.
